Ingredients Needed for Frozen Corn on the Cob Air Fryer
- Frozen Corn on the Cob. The star of the show! You can use frozen mini or half ears of corn.
- Butter. Melted and brushed over the corn for that irresistible flavor.
- Salt & Pepper. Simple but necessary to enhance the natural taste.
- Parmesan Cheese (Optional). Adds a rich, savory touch if you want a little extra flavor.
- Chili Powder (Optional). For a bit of spice, giving the corn a fun kick.
- Avocado Spray. Keeps the corn from sticking and helps get that golden finish.

How to Air Fry Corn on the Cob from Frozen
- Set your air fryer to 375°F and let it preheat for about 4 minutes. This ensures that the corn cooks evenly and gets that perfect crispiness on the outside.
- Spray the air fryer basket with avocado spray to prevent sticking. Place the frozen corn on the cob in a single layer. Don't overcrowd! You want air to flow around each piece for even cooking.
- Air fry for 7-9 minutes, then use tongs to rotate the corn. Fry for another 7-9 minutes until the kernels are golden and tender. Total cook time: 14-18 minutes.
- Once cooked, brush the corn with melted butter and season with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. Want more flavor? Sprinkle some chili powder or a squeeze of lime juice!

Storage & Freezing
Storage: If you have any leftover corn (unlikely!), store it in an airtight container in the fridge. It’ll stay fresh for 3-4 days.
Freezing: To freeze leftover air-fried corn, wrap each cob tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil, then place in a freezer-safe bag. It’ll last for up to 3 months. Perfect for quick side dishes later!
Make Ahead: You can pre-air-fry the corn and store it in the fridge. When you're ready, reheat it in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes at 375°F for that just-cooked crispiness.

Substitutions & Variations
- If you’re out of butter, olive oil or ghee are great dairy-free alternatives.
- For a cheesy twist, swap parmesan with cotija or feta for that extra salty, tangy flavor.
- Not into chili powder? Garlic powder or smoked paprika can give your corn a flavorful boost without the heat.
- If you’ve got fresh corn on hand, feel free to use it—just cut the cooking time down a little.
- Don’t have avocado spray? Any neutral oil spray will do the trick to prevent sticking.
- For a Mexican street corn vibe, swap butter for sour cream, add cotija cheese, chili powder, and a squeeze of lime juice for that tangy, creamy flavor.

Recipe Secrets Revealed
Tips and tricks to make this recipe turn out perfect every time
- Air flow is key! Make sure the corn is in a single layer so each cob gets that perfect crispy texture. Overcrowding will leave you with soggy corn, and no one wants that.
- You can cook just 1 frozen corn cob or fill the basket—just make sure they aren’t stacked to ensure even cooking!
- Halfway through cooking, give the corn a flip. This ensures that every side gets that golden color and full cook-through. It only takes a second but makes a huge difference!
- Watch for the kernels and edges to turn golden—that’s your sign the corn is perfectly cooked and ready to serve!
- As soon as that corn comes out of the air fryer, brush on the butter and sprinkle with your favorite seasonings. The heat helps the flavors melt into the kernels, making every bite super tasty.
Pair your air fryer corn with a hearty meal like Air Fryer Hamburgers, or alongside lighter sides such as Air Fryer Broccoli or Air Fryer Asparagus. It’s the perfect side dish for anything! And finish off the meal with pineapple mango smoothie for summer fun.
