What’s In Leprechaun Bark?
- 12 oz White Chocolate Almond Bark
- 1 pkg 12oz Green Candy Wafers
- Mint Stripe Cookies
- 1 pkg Mint M&Ms
- Gold Candy Sprinkles (optional)
How to Make Leprechaun Bark
- Place 2 cups of water inside of your Instant Pot.
- Set it to Saute and then wait until it reads "Hot."
- Add the Colored Wafers to the bowl.
- As the bowl gets warm, the candy wafers will melt.
- Stir the wafers until smooth.
- Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
- Pour the melted almond bark on parchment paper and then spread evenly to cover the bottom.
- Crumble 8-10 cookies and then sprinkle them over the Green melted candy.
- Allow them to fully cool (Hint - Place in the refrigerator).
- Clean the bowl and dry (It’s very important to use a clean dry bowl).
- Chop the Almond Bark into small pieces or shavings.
- Place the glass bowl on top of the Instant Pot or Electric Pressure Cooker.
- Add the Chopped Almond Bark into the bowl.
- The steam will heat the glass bowl and melt the almond bark. Stir it until smooth.
- Pour the melted Almond Bark on top of the colored wafers and then spread evenly over top of colored melted wafers.
- Sprinkle the top with Mint M&M's.
- Crumble 8-10 cookies on top
- Place in the refrigerator and allow it to cool completely.
- Gently break the bark into pieces.
- Store in an airtight container.
Can I melt Almond Bar or Candy Wafers in the Microwave?
Yes, you can melt them in a microwave! Simply place them in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each.
Something to note about chilling the candy bark
You’ll want to chill your white chocolate bark on the counter or let it set up in the fridge. While the fridge is the faster method, it’s easier to break into pieces if chilled on the counter.
What are some holiday variations?
A few examples would be using a mix of white candy bark and red and blue colored candies for a patriotic candy bark.
Christmas bark would be great with crushed sugar cookies, chocolate bell candies and red, white, and green colored candies.
