Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Peaches Recipe
- Fresh Peaches. Choose ripe yellow or white peaches with a little give when pressed; these will caramelize perfectly in the air fryer. If peaches aren’t in season, canned peaches work too!
- Olive Oil. A light drizzle of olive oil helps the peaches caramelize and get that perfect golden brown finish.
- Brown Sugar. Adds sweetness and depth of flavor, complementing the natural sugars of the peaches.
- Ground Cinnamon. A sprinkle of cinnamon brings warmth and enhances the flavor of the peaches.
- Butter. Softened butter creates a rich, creamy topping when mixed with cinnamon and brown sugar. You can also use vegan butter for a dairy-free option.
- Optional Toppings. Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, granola, pecans, or a drizzle of honey make this dessert even more irresistible.

How to Make Air Fryer Peaches
- Start by slicing your juicy peaches in half and removing the pit. If the pit sticks, use a spoon to gently scoop it out. Drizzle the cut side with a little olive oil to help them caramelize beautifully in the air fryer.
- Place the peach halves, cut side down, in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes. This gets them warm and starts the caramelization process, locking in the natural sweetness of the peaches.

- While the peaches are air frying, mix together brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and softened butter in a small bowl to create a sweet, spiced spread. Once the first 5 minutes are up, flip the peaches over so the skin side is down, and place a teaspoon of the butter mixture in the center of each peach.

- Air fry for another 5 minutes until the butter mixture has melted into the peaches and they turn golden brown. Carefully remove your air-fried peaches and get ready to enjoy this delicious dessert. Serve them warm with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of maple syrup for the perfect summer dessert!

FAQs
Yes! If fresh peaches aren’t in season, canned peaches work well. Just make sure to drain them thoroughly before air frying.
Underripe peaches will still soften in the air fryer, though they might not caramelize as much. For best results, use peaches with a little give when pressed.
Absolutely! White peaches work just as well, offering a slightly sweeter flavor compared to yellow peaches.
It takes about 10 minutes total, 5 minutes on each side at 350°F.
Get creative! Try a drizzle of honey, crushed graham crackers, chopped nuts, or even Greek yogurt for a healthier option.

Storage & Freezing
Storage: Air-fried peaches are best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a day. For best results, serve the peaches slightly warm.
Freezing: While these peaches are best when fresh, you can freeze them if needed. Place the cooled peaches in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container. They’ll keep for up to three months, but they may lose a bit of their texture once thawed.
Reheating: To reheat, pop them back into the air fryer for a few minutes until warmed through. This helps restore their caramelized goodness without making them mushy.
Make Ahead: This recipe is quick enough to make right before serving, but if you need to prepare ahead, air fry the peaches and keep them at room temperature. Reheat quickly in the air fryer before serving for that fresh, just-made feel!

Substitutions & Variations
- If you prefer a dairy-free option, swap out the butter for coconut oil. It adds a subtle tropical flavor that pairs perfectly with peaches.
- For a more natural sweetener, replace the brown sugar with coconut sugar. It still gives you that rich sweetness with a healthier twist.
- Drizzle some maple syrup instead of using honey for an extra burst of sweetness and a lovely caramelized finish.
- Add a sprinkle of quick oats and graham cracker crumbs to the top before the final air fry for a crunchy peach crisp variation.
- If you’re out of peaches, pears work just as well in this recipe! Follow the same steps for delicious, caramelized air fryer pears.
- For a lighter, healthier option, serve your air-fried peaches with a dollop of Greek yogurt instead of ice cream.

Pro Tips
- For the best flavor, pick peaches that have a slight give when pressed. Underripe peaches won’t caramelize as well, and overripe peaches might become too mushy. Yellow peaches are the most popular, but white peaches add a delicate sweetness too!
- A light drizzle of olive oil (or avocado oil) is essential for that golden brown finish. It helps the peaches caramelize beautifully while keeping the skin from sticking to the air fryer basket.
- Peaches get hot in the air fryer! Use tongs to flip them halfway through cooking. This keeps the peaches intact and ensures they cook evenly on both sides.
- Let those peaches cool for a few minutes before digging in! The caramelized sugars are super hot and could leave you with a burnt tongue—patience is key to enjoying that perfect bite!
- Top these air-fried peaches with your favorite toppings. Whether it's a scoop of ice cream, a dollop of Sweet Whipped Cream, a handful of granola, a drizzle of honey, or chopped pecans or almonds, the possibilities are endless. For a healthier option, try Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

- Make Ahead: You can air fry the peaches ahead and quickly reheat them in the air fryer before serving for that fresh taste.
