What would you do for a Klondike Bar? Well, let me tell you! I would be first in line to taste this sweet treat and try to go back for seconds. No shame here. The creamy vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate is perfect for this Fruit Medley Dessert.
I must admit, I love finding simple recipes that really give a good visual impression. This quick and easy little gem is no different. I have loved serving this to a crowd and everyone is wowed by how delicious it looks.

On a summer BBQ with friends, the host pulled out the Klondike Fruit Medley, and instantly my mouth began to water. I quickly jumped up to help serve. It was so much fun to see the faces of those in line to grab their Klondike Fruit dessert.
I think in all, I likely spoiled myself with 2 of these little babies. (eek!) . But, you decide! I bet you will want another one too.
How to make Fruit Medley
This recipe is truly a snap. The prep work involved is super quick. Just wash and slice your strawberries, then mix your fruit with sugar in a large bowl and let it sit. In less than 30 minutes juices will begin to appear but try to hold out for 1 hour as it only gets better.
I love using these glass pyrex bowls. Some of my favorite bowls and have purchased multiple sets.

Stir fruit every 15 minutes for good measure. And let the fruit sit until ready to serve.
Unwrap Klondike Ice Cream Bar and garnish with a healthy scoop of fruit. Serve and enjoy.

I have always loved the simplicity of this recipe which is why I added this recipe to my website years ago. It's a family favorite. It was time to update the old photos and the written content. The recipe is the same favorite with new photos.
