The best part of this recipe? Letting the kids help! I love pulling the boys into the kitchen and letting them help make something fun to eat. There is no way to mess this recipe up, so let them help, laugh, and giggle along the way. The memories are priceless.
How to make Strawberry Brownie Kabobs
With 4 simple ingredients, these Strawberry Brownie Kabobs are super simple to make. Gather your ingredients and let's get started
- Strawberries: Choose large ripe berries. Wash and cut stems off
- Marshmallows: The large size works best in this recipe and the fresher the better!
- Brownie Bites: Square and circle a brownie bite is a brownie bite. Homemade brownies can work if they are heavy and thick and hold together on their own.
- Magic Shell: This chocolate syrup will harden and is a perfect choice for a nice clean and delicious dessert kabob.
Pick these up the next time you are at the store and you will be able to surprise your family one evening and make some fun family memories.
Start with a washed and hulled strawberry and add a brownie next on the kabob skewer. Add a large marshmallow in the middle and repeat the pattern. Before you know it it will be complete.
Keep in mind the order really doesn’t matter, it’s all about being creative. Maybe even try just Brownies and Strawberries! Yum!
Brownie Kabob Substitutions
Just a few quick ideas
- Cubed Melon with Marshmallows and drizzled in a White Chocolate Magic Shell
- Alternate Brownies and Marshmallows
- Add Bananas. Make sure to dip Bananas into a lemon juice so the color doesn't change
- Apple Slices, Marshmallows, Sponge Cake Squares, and a Caramel Drizzle
Any way you decide to make these kabobs they are wonderful and fun and sure to bring a smile to the faces who get to devour them. Just have fun and create memories.
These would be great at your next dinner party, picnic, or pot-luck at work! It really is that easy to bring something to share that doesn’t take a lot of work.
How to Store Strawberry Brownie Kabobs?
After Kabobs are made, and Magic Shell has set, I like to cover with Foil so the marshmallows and brownies don't dry out. If you wish you can keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
How long do Strawberry Brownie Kabobs last?
I make Dessert Kabobs the same day I want to serve them. They are very popular and I rarely have leftovers.
