Golden Oreos are a delicious treat that many of us can agree tastes great! My boys fight for their "fair share" and often sneak extra. They remind me a little of a Golden Oreo Cakester a recipe I wish was still made. Yellow Oreos taste great, a nice butter vanilla flavor that everyone loves.

Making your own Golden Oreos is a great way to get that delicious flavor in your favorite cookie form. Not only that, but homemade cookies can often taste better!
To make life simpler, using a box cake mix is a nice shortcut. Getting that Golden Oreo flavor without the added work is great. Pair it with the cream cheese filling and you have yourself a winner!

While these aren’t the Golden Oreos that you know, they will be the ones you love. Your family will love these cookies too! They do great as “just because” snacks as well as party treats!

Golden Oreo cookies taste a lot like the original ones, but sweeter. With a creamy filling and golden flavor, these cookies are irresistibly good.
Can I freeze Golden Oreos?
Yes! Make and freeze your golden oreos for later to get them to last longer. After making your cookies, freeze the flat on a baking sheet for about an hour.
Once solid, wrap them individually in plastic wrap. Then transfer them to an airtight container or Ziploc bag and freeze.
Now when you want one, you can just pull it out and wait a few minutes for it to thaw before eating! Perfect for lunch boxes!

Store your golden oreos in an airtight container in the fridge. Using a layer of parchment paper between rows of cookies can help to prevent them from sticking to each other.
How long do Oreo Cookies last?
Homemade golden oreos can last up to a week in the fridge if you keep them properly stored. But, if you freeze them, you can easily keep them for much longer!

When did Oreos Come out?
