Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Peach Cobbler
- Peaches.Fresh peaches are best for this recipe, giving the cobbler that juicy and naturally sweet flavor. You can use canned peaches in a pinch, just be sure to drain them well.
- Brown Sugar. Adds a caramel-like sweetness to the peaches, deepening the flavor of the cobbler.
- Ground Cinnamon.Warm cinnamon spices up the peach mixture and pairs perfectly with the natural fruitiness.
- Nutmeg. Just a pinch of nutmeg brings out a cozy, comforting note that elevates the dish.
- All-Purpose Flour. Forms the base for the cobbler’s biscuit-like topping, giving it structure and a nice crumbly texture.
- Granulated Sugar. Adds sweetness to the cake batter, ensuring it bakes up golden and crisp.
- Baking Powder. Gives the topping a light and fluffy rise.
- Melted Butter. Adds richness and flavor to the cake topping, helping it turn golden brown.
- Milk. Keeps the batter moist and helps bind the ingredients together.
- Vanilla Extract. Enhances the flavor of both the peach filling and the cake topping, adding a sweet, aromatic touch.

How to Make Air Fryer Peach Cobbler
- Start by slicing and dicing your fresh peaches. You can leave the skins on for added texture and a pop of color, or remove them if you prefer a smoother filling. Toss the peach slices with brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cornstarch in a medium bowl. This combination will create a syrupy, sweet base that’s bursting with flavor.

- In a separate bowl, whip up your cake batter. Combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, melted butter, and milk. The batter should be thick but spreadable. This topping will bake into a biscuit-like crust, giving your cobbler that signature crumbly texture.

- Grab your ramekins and evenly distribute the peach mixture into each one. Spoon the thick cake batter over the peaches, letting just a bit of the fruit peek through. The topping will spread as it bakes, so don’t worry about covering everything perfectly.

- Place the ramekins in your preheated air fryer basket and cook at 330°F for about 12–14 minutes. Check them after 8 minutes to ensure the tops aren’t browning too quickly. If needed, loosely cover them with foil. You’ll know the cobblers are done when a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat!

FAQs
Absolutely! If fresh peaches aren’t in season, canned peaches are a great substitute. Just be sure to drain them well to avoid excess liquid.
Not necessarily! Leaving the skins on adds color and texture. However, if you prefer a smoother filling, feel free to peel them.
Yes, you can easily swap the butter for coconut oil and use a non-dairy milk like almond or coconut milk.
8-ounce ramekins are perfect for individual servings, but you can use any oven-safe dish that fits in your air fryer.
The top should be golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the cake should come out clean. If it’s still sticky, add a few more minutes until it’s fully baked.
Storage & Freezing
Storage: To keep your air fryer peach cobbler fresh, store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. If you’d like to keep it longer, move it to the refrigerator, where it can last for up to 4 days. The cobbler topping will stay crisp, and the peaches will remain juicy.
Freezing: You can freeze peach cobbler, though the texture of the topping may soften slightly. Wrap the cooled cobblers tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. They’ll keep well in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to enjoy, thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer.
Reheating: To reheat your cobbler, pop it back into the air fryer at 300°F for a few minutes to warm through and crisp up the topping. Alternatively, you can use the microwave, but the air fryer method helps restore that lovely golden crust.
Make Ahead: You can prepare the peach mixture and cake topping ahead of time and store them separately in the fridge for up to a day. When you're ready, assemble and bake in the air fryer for fresh, warm cobbler in minutes!
Substitutions & Variations
- Fresh yellow or white peaches are ideal, but if you’re short on time or out of season, canned peaches work great. You can also experiment with other fruits like apples or berries for a twist on the classic cobbler.
- Swap brown sugar for coconut sugar or regular granulated sugar if that’s what you have on hand. It will slightly alter the flavor but still bring out the sweetness of the peaches.
- You can use gluten-free flour to make this recipe gluten-free. Just ensure it’s a 1:1 baking blend for the best results.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute the milk with almond milk, coconut milk, or any plant-based milk of your choice.
- Coconut oil is a great alternative to melted butter, keeping this recipe dairy-free without sacrificing that golden brown, crispy topping.
- Add a dash of almond extract for a unique twist or experiment with cardamom for a more complex, spiced flavor.
Pro Tips
- Use Ripe Peaches for the Best Flavor. Ripe, juicy peaches are the star of this dish. If your peaches are a bit firm, let them sit out at room temperature for a day or two until they soften. Freestone peaches are easier to pit and slice, making your prep a breeze.
- Don’t Overcrowd the Air Fryer. If you're making multiple servings, be sure to leave enough space between the ramekins in the air fryer. Crowding them will prevent the air from circulating properly, which can affect how evenly the cobblers bake.
- Keep an Eye on the Topping. Air fryers can vary in power, so check your cobblers about halfway through the cooking time. If the tops are browning too quickly, lightly cover them with foil to avoid over-browning while the inside finishes baking.
- What to Serve With. This air fryer peach cobbler shines when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. The creamy texture perfectly balances the crisp topping and juicy peaches. Want to add a little extra? A sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of caramel will take it over the top.

Notes
How to Remove Peach Skins
Removing Peach Skins is easy and there is a number of ways to accomplish this task.- Use a vegetable peeler and peel the skin to remove before slicing peaches in half and removing pit.
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Then carefully place ripe peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. Remove peaches from hot water and plunge into cold icy water. (Fill a bowl with cold water and ice cubes). Skill will easily slip off and peel back with ease.
