Hot sweet Air Fryer Apple Fritters are a soon to be favorite fritter recipe. Perfect for Fall a Fritter is a cross between a cake and a donut and fantastically delicious when Air Fried which means they are a bit healthier than deep fat frying which means I might just enjoy two.
This post is sponsored in conjunction with #FallFlavors. I received product samples from sponsor companies to help in the creation of the Fall Flavors recipes. All opinions are mine alone.
Apples are a wonderful Fall fruit in all varieties and this recipe is perfect to make with your favorite apples. I personally love Granny Smith Apples. They are firm, tart, and delicious and bake well without turning to soft.
This simple treat can easily be made in less than 30 minutes from start to finish and when using an Air Fryer your kitchen will stay cool, and clean up is very simple too. Go ahead, make a double batch and see how everyone’s face will light up. I know I’m excited for you to give this recipe a try
Adding a sweet glaze on top is purely optional but I do suggest making a glaze and trying for yourself because it’s delicious and really takes an Apple Fritter up a notch!

How to make Air Fryer Apple Fritters
Gather all the ingredients and supplies needed. I always find it easiest to organize my work station with the ingredients I need and measuring cups and spoons.
Begin by preheating Air Fryer to 400F Degrees for 5 minutes. This allows the basket to get good and hot.
- In a large mixing bowl combine dry ingredients of Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Salt and Cinnamon together.
- Create a well in the center. Add Milk, Vanilla Extract, and eggs. Stir ingredients together until combined.
- Carefully fold in diced apples and stir.
- Line basket with parchment paper and spray with avocado spray to prevent sticking
- Drop about ⅓ cup batter onto parchment paper making sure to not allow Fritters to touch. Do not over crowd. Leave space between for best results
- Spray Fritters with Avocado Spray and Air Fry at 400F Degrees for 4 minutes or until Golden Brown. Flip Fritter over and cook an additional 3-5 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Allow Fritters to cool slightly before drizzling glaze
- Serve and enjoy
Melissa’s Produce
I received a huge box of fresh produce including fruits and vegetables from Melissa’s Produce. I live in a rural area that enjoys winter for many months. With short growing seasons finding quality fresh produce is difficult. I loved my box of produce and can’t wait to order more.
In this recipe I used fresh apples sent from Melissa’s Produce. It’s always fantastic to have beautiful fresh produce to serve to my family.
Dixie Crystals Sugar
I grew up being taught that Store Brands were less expensive and the same. As I’ve spent more and more time in the kitchen I’ve found that quality products make big differences and using Dixie Crystals Sugar is a new favorite find. This sugar is very fine and gives my recipes a burst of texture that I love.
Taylor and Colledge Vanilla Bean Paste
I have loved the fantastic extra pastes from Taylor and Colledge and how the flavors are so vibrant and full of flavor. When given an option I suggest using Taylor and Colledge. They have a wide variety to choose from and their products are top notch.
