Removing Peach Skins is easy and there is a number of ways to accomplish this task.
Use a vegetable peeler and peel the skin to remove before slicing peaches in half and removing pit.
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Then carefully place ripe peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. Remove peaches from hot water and plunge into cold icy water. (Fill a bowl with cold water and ice cubes). Skill will easily slip off and peel back with ease.
Tip: Peaches that are ripe are easier to remove the skins by blanching in hot boiling water. If a peach is not ripe and still hard. This method does not work as well and requires additional time being boiled. This recipe works with skins removed or left on. It's a personal preference.
