What better way to get the most out of your leftovers than by enjoying a delicious turkey slider? This is a sweet, savory and cheesy good sandwich that you want to eat over and over again.
The plus side of these small sandwiches is that due to their bread roll sized servings, you can eat several and not feel guilty!
The downside is that the more turkey cranberry sliders you make, the more you have to share with everyone else.
If you have a larger family or multiple people to feed, you may want to double or even triple this recipe so that everyone can get their fill.
If you do multiple batches, consider making each with a different type of cheese so everyone can have their favorite.
This could be a great way to get that ooey gooey cheesiness or that sharp added bite of a good cheddar.
Besides using leftover turkey that you already have on hand, you can also use leftover cranberry sauce.
If you don’t have any you can follow along with this super simple recipe for cranberry sauce to make your own fresh batch.
What's in Turkey Sliders
- 3 Cups Diced Cooked Turkey
- 1 pkg 12 count Hawaiian Rolls
- ½ Cup Cranberry Sauce
- 6 Slices cheese
- 3 Tbs Butter
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Poppy Seeds
How to make Turkey Sliders
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Slice your Hawaiian rolls horizontally so that they can have a top and a bottom for your sandwich sliders.
- Place the bottom halves on the bottom of the pan and spread the cranberry sauce over the top. Then sprinkle with the diced cooked turkey.
- Place your cheese of choice over the top of the turkey and add the top of the slider bread.
- In a small separate bowl, melt your butter and add the garlic powder and poppy seeds, stirring to combine.
- Brush the top of the bread rolls with the butter mixture and then bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
What to serve with Turkey Cranberry Sliders?
These sliders are so great on their own, but adding a side of potatoes could be a great mix. You can make it more dinner-style with a side of mashed potatoes, or more fit for lunch with tater tots, french fries or potato chips.
How many sliders per person should I plan for?
Expect to have everyone enjoy 2 sliders each, but it’s always good to make a little extra for the extra hungry people in your house.
Can I freeze Turkey Sliders?
You can freeze the sliders! Just thaw them out for a few hours in the fridge before baking.
You can also cook them from frozen, and give a little longer baking time, but the top bun may be a little harder in the crust, as a result.
Do I serve Sliders hot or cold?
Either! While you can eat a slider cold, serving it warm means that you have delicious melted cheese holding all of the diced turkey meat in place so it’s less messy to eat.
What other types of cheese can I use?
A good Provolone, Swiss, Havarti, cheddar cheese or even American could do great. You can’t go wrong with your favorite cheese because you already know that you enjoy it!
Can I use Lunchmeat instead of leftover turkey?
Can’t wait for leftover turkey or having a craving mid-year?
You can use turkey lunch meat as an alternative and as an added bonus it’s less messy and you don’t have to dice it! Just place a few slices on each roll and you are good to go.
How long will Turkey Sliders last?
Should you have extra they will be fine if you keep them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They've never lasted that long in my home.

WILL
These are great, but if you want to take them up a notch, make the "buns" out of stuffing!!
Devour Dinner
Hi Will. Using the stuffing as a bun sounds fantastic. I'll have to give it a try!
