Making French Toast is pretty simple, in fact it's ridiculously easy to make. Let's try Strawberry Stuffed French Toast for a huge WOW Factor that you won't forget. You will want more than 1 slice of this easy to make Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Recipe, I promise. It's an impressive recipe that is truly quick and easy.

    Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

Do yourself a favor and purchase a loaf of Texas Toast. It's wider than a typical slice of bread and a little more dense too. This is perfect for soaking up all the yummy egg and milk mixture while holding in the creamy strawberry cream cheese mixture. Trust me here.

Texas Toast can be found at your local grocery store in the bread section. There are a number of brands that make it. Ask your store clerk for help if you can't find it. My grocery stores never stock a ton of it and it always seems gone on the weekends. Just my experience.

Get a little creative if you wish, use a flavored cream cheese, add extra fresh berries or do both! There is no wrong way to make Strawberry Stuffed French Toast in my book. However, do make sure to have extra berries for on top with a wonderful syrup. It does make all the difference in taste and presentation.

    Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

My Buttermilk Syrup is homemade and delicious a quick and easy recipe that goes perfectly with this breakfast recipe. And don't worry if you don't have buttermilk. I'll teach you how to make your own in the post.

    Ingredients

    • Texas Toast
    • Cream Cheese
    • Strawberries
    • Strawberry Jam
    • Eggs
    • Milk
    • Cinnamon
    • Vanilla

You notice there aren't any crazy ingredients, just a simple easy list to make this fabulous Stuffed French Toast Recipe for Brunch, Breakfast or even Dinner.

How to make Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

    1. In a medium bowl crack eggs and add milk. With a good whisk, whisk the egg mixture until combined. Go ahead and add Vanilla and then sprinkle Cinnamon on top and whisk it together.
    2. In a small bowl combine Softened Cream Cheese and Strawberry Jam. Don't worry if you can't completely mix together smooth. Spread 2-3 Tbs of mixture onto 1 slice of bread. Top with small diced strawberries pieces if you wish and place 1 slice of bread on top.
    3. Repeat until you have made all the stuffed French Toast pieces and are ready to cook them
    4. Heat a skillet over Medium/High and spray with cooking spray
    5. Gently place Stuffed French Toast into Egg mixture allowing to sit for 2-3 seconds to absorb some egg mixture, flip over to other side and repeat. Then carefully lift out using a fork or spatula and place on hot skillet
    6. Cook until bread is toasty golden brown and flip to cook other side.

    Cooking Stuffed French Toast

    Making a Pretty Plate

You've heard me say before that Food should be FUN! Of course it doesn't exactly change the taste of a recipe, but presentation does help our mind prepare for the goodness we are about to taste. Don't just throw an entire piece of Stuffed French Toast onto a plate and call it good.

Try cutting each sandwich on the diagonal and then crisping up those face edges before placing on a serving plate. The triangle shapes can be presented in many ways which create a perfect WOW Factor.

If you wish to make a Simple Berry with a sauce, wash and slice berries and add a few tablespoons of sugar and stir. Allowing the fruit to sit while you cook the French Toast will create a delicious simple sweet berry sauce that is delicious.

    Stuffed Strawberry French Toast

I almost forget, if Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast isn't for you, we can still be friends. Take a look at this Fluffy Pancake Recipe. You can make a TALL stack of homemade Pancakes that taste great.

Can I make Strawberry Stuffed French Toast Early?

You can prep a few things early on this recipe. Mix up the cream cheese mixture and prepare each stuffed french toast sandwich. Then properly cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.

Can I Freeze Strawberry Stuffed French Toast?

You can freeze any leftovers if needed. However, they aren't the same when reheated as the bread is soft. But still tastes great.

Can I use a Flavored Cream Cheese?

Yes of course! Try Strawberry Cream Cheese instead of Plain or a Mixed Berry. It's delicious

    Can I use More Cinnamon?

After you dip 2 or 3 Stuffed French Toasts into the Egg Mixture most if not all the cinnamon floating on top is gone. Go ahead and add ¼ teaspoon more as needed.

Can I omit the Strawberries inside the Stuffed French Toast?

Of course you can. My littles would prefer to have strawberry slices on top than stuffed inside. Do what works for you.

What other Flavors are good for this French Toast Recipe?

Think Peaches! Substitute Peach Jam for the Strawberry Jam and throw in some Raspberries for good measure. You will thank me!

Why is Breakfast for Dinner so Good?

In my house we love making Breakfast for Dinner. The ingredients for Breakfast Recipes are typically less expensive. Many breakfast menu items like omelettes are very nutritious and super easy to make, other recipes like French Toast are very cost effective to feed a bigger group and everyone loves them.

    Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

Make sure you serve this up with a tall glass of Orange Juice or Milk and some eggs are always welcomed too. Try my picky eaters favorite Ham and Cheese Crustless Quiche. It's really good!
