Make sure to read these FAQ’s

    What Makes Quiche Fluffy?

Well Eggs of course!  Egg is the main basic ingredient and when it’s whisked air is added and the texture will be light and fluffy.

    Why is my Quiche Watery?

Watery Quiche just happens.  When a temperature is too hot the milk and cheese can separate producing a clear watery liquid.  You can easily blotted off with a paper towel if it’s a problem.

    Is Quiche Keto Approved?

This Easy Quiche Recipe with Broccoli, Bacon and Cheddar use approved ingredients. However not all quiche recipes are approved, so please check ingredients.

    Is Quiche a Healthy Choice?

Quiche can be a healthy choice, but more importantly it depends on what you are wanting in your diet.  Traditional Quiche is made with Eggs, Cheese, Dairy, and a pie crust which are high in fat.

Healthier versions with vegetables and low fat cheese are also options.

This recipe is Keto friendly.  Depending on what your diet is, it is a healthy option, especially where it’s crustless.

    Broccoli Quiche

I’m all about following diets and meal plans, and then I can throw them out the window when something so good crosses my palate too.

If you want a fun sweet and savory traditional quiche, this Breakfast Christmas Quiche just might be for you.

With the sweetness from Cranberries and the salty taste from Sausage, combined is a true party in your mouth.

You might also enjoy a traditional Ham and Cheese Quiche which is also Keto Friendly too.

    • ½ Cup Bacon Crumbles
    • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
    • ½ Tbs Dijon Mustard
    • ½ Cup Milk
    • ½ Cup Sour Cream
    • ¾ Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    • Salt and Pepper to Taste

    Instructions

    • In a bowl crack eggs and whisk to combine.
    • Add diced green onions, bacon crumbles, sour cream, cheese, and broccoli florets. *made sure to cut broccoli florets into small pieces. And stir to combine.
    • Add Heavy Cream, Milk and Dijon Mustard. Stir to combine.
    • Add Salt and Pepper to Taste
    • Grease pan. You can use a Stackable pan insert or a spring form pan. Please note. A Springform pan will need to be wrapped in foil so it doesn't leak.
    • Add 1 to 1 ½ cups water to Instant Pot.
    • Place pan on trivet and set to Manual for 25 minutes. Quick Release pressure when complete
    • Run a knife around the inside of the pan to loosen and flip out onto a plate.
    • *optional - Sprinkle with additional cheese and green onions.

    Notes

I use the Stackable Pan in Pans shown below. You can also use a Springform pan to make this easy quiche recipe. Wrap the bottom of the springform pan in foil to prevent leaking.
Salt and Pepper to taste. The bacon provides plenty of salt, so use sparingly.
Make a foil sling to help remove your pot quickly and easily. Use a sheet of foil about 2 feet long. Fold in half. Fold in half again. And fold in half again. Place the foil under the pan making a handle.

How long and at what heat do I cook this recipe in an oven? What if I want it made in a pie crust?

Hi Mark, Making a quiche in the oven will vary. I would bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. If you use a frozen pie crust I would prebake the crust first for 8-10 minutes before adding the quiche ingredients and then baking the quiche. Should be delicious!

Is the cooking instruction the same if using both the stackable pans to make 2 quiches? Or do I cook loner ?

        Hi Yanette!

You can use the stackable pans. I do add 5 extra minutes to make sure they are fully cooked. Keep in mind it will take longer to pressure up too. I've also noticed that the quiche on the bottom will have more whey separation that needs to be blotted off. Hope this helps! Enjoy.
