How to make Chicken and Gravy
Step 1: Place boneless skinless chicken breasts into the Instant Pot / pressure cooker and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Add 1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth or water into the pot. The broth is needed to create steam to pressure Instant Pot
Step 3: In a separate bowl combine Chicken Gravy Packet with Italian Dressing and Ranch Dressing Packet. Sprinkle mixture over chicken breasts
Step 4: Pressure Cook Chicken Breasts for 18 minutes. Allow a 20 minute Natural Pressure Release (NPR) before opening the lid.
Step 5: Remove chicken breasts and use forks shred chicken. Chicken will be soft and tender and will easily fall apart and shred.
Step 6: Set Instant Pot to Saute. In a small bowl mix 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch and 2 Tablespoons water to make a slurry. Add slurry to Instant Pot and whisk into gravy to thicken (optional)
Serve over Rice, Noodles, or Mashed Potatoes. Also delicious when served on a toasted hoagie roll.

Directions Using Chicken Tenders
Follow the above directions and measurements except adjust pressure cooking time to 6 minutes when cooking chicken tenders and allow a 6 minute Natural Pressure Release (NPR)
How to make more gravy?
It's easy to add additional gravy in this recipe. Add an extra cup of water or broth when cooking. Gravy can be thickened with a Cornstarch Slurry. Or you can add an additional packet of chicken gravy to the recipe which is fantastic too.
How to shred chicken?
I find that chicken breasts will easily fall apart after being pressure cooked. Using forks to shred chicken or pull it apart works best. You can also use a hand mixer. Place chicken in a bowl and on a low speed use mixer to shred chicken.
Can I substitute for thighs or tenders?
Although I prefer using chicken breasts because they easily shred when pressure cooked, you may substitute chicken tenders or even chicken thighs in this recipe. See recipe card below for adjusted cooking times.

"Devour"ing this right now. Very good and I will be making this again! I have to admit that I didn't follow your directions for doubling the gravy. I wish I did. I doubled all the ingredients. I promise next time I will make it as written for double gravy. The timing is perfect!
