Spinach Salad is a great way to get your leafy greens into your diet! These powerful little leaves are packed full of excellent nutrients that your body needs, but they aren’t always the most fun to eat.

Spinach is a very flavorful vegetable on its own, so it’s often used best in smoothies and salads to help tone down the overpowering flavors.
This spinach salad recipe helps to turn it into just another ingredient and allows it to take a backseat to all of the other wonderful flavors it pairs so well with.
Salad isn’t always a light side dish, and Spinach Salad with Bacon is a very filling meal on its own. Enjoying this filling salad for lunch or as a hot summer night’s dinner is a great idea!

This spinach salad goes great at any time of the year, but If you love green salads like I do, you’re going to want to make them all year long. Try my fall inspired apple cranberry pecan salad for a little change.

- Stir constantly until the sugar melts and almonds are coated and turn to a golden color.
- Remove them from the heat and allow the almonds to cool completely.

Yes, you can make this salad in advance, but you may want to wait until you’re ready to serve before placing any almonds on the salad. This will keep them from becoming stale or chewy.
