    Instant Pot

This recipe for is written with directions for the Instant Pot however you can find stove top directions below.

The Instant Pot will infuse the noodles with the added flavor from the broth which is something that I just love. It truly makes this recipe especially when you add sautéed mushrooms and garlic.

What to Serve Mushroom Garlic Noodles with?

I find that when I make a meal with a side dish my boys eat more and don't ask for snacks right after dinner. So having delicious side dishes is super important to me. I personally love to serve Mushroom Garlic Noodles with beef! One of our favorites is Kentucky Bourbon Steak Bites.

Hello Rebecca! I made this recipe tonight for dinner and it is so good! However, I did a few add-ins. I sautéed the mushrooms but I added some minced onions to it also. Then after the mushrooms and onions were almost done I added in some minced garlic and sautéed till a little browned. To deglaze the pot I poured in some white wine and stirred up the brown bits till the wine was almost gone. Then I proceeded with your recipe as written. Then when it was all done and the pressure was released, I added some raw, thawed shrimp on top and put the lid back on and let the residual heat cook the shrimp perfectly. The shrimp was de-shelled and de-tailed. lol By the time I had the rest of the dinner ready, so was the shrimp. On goes some shredded Parm and dinner was served!! WOW!! We loved it! Thank you so much for this recipe....as with all your other recipes too!

I enjoyed this but I must be doing something wrong. Is it supposed to absorb all the liquid in the IP??? Or are we supposed to drain after natural release?

Hi Nancy, typically the majority of the liquid is absorbed unless more liquid was added prior to cooking or less noodles than needed. When you plate the noodles you can serve without the extra liquid.

These were amazing! I did a bit more garlic and no pepper flakes. Also added more parmesan cheese to both thicken up a bit and love the taste.

        Hi Beverly!
This is a great recipe both for a side dish and just because. Adding more cheese would definitely thicken things up. And would be delicious!
