Instant Pot
This recipe for Mushroom Garlic Noodles is written with directions for the Instant Pot however you can find stove top directions below.
The Instant Pot will infuse the noodles with the added flavor from the broth which is something that I just love. It truly makes this recipe especially when you add sautéed mushrooms and garlic.

What to Serve Mushroom Garlic Noodles with?
I find that when I make a meal with a side dish my boys eat more and don't ask for snacks right after dinner. So having delicious side dishes is super important to me. I personally love to serve Mushroom Garlic Noodles with beef! One of our favorites is Kentucky Bourbon Steak Bites.

You might also like to serve this side dish with our Grilled Marsala Tri Tip Steak. When grilled, this steak has such great flavor and pairing with these Mushroom Garlic Noodles is amazing!

Quick Tip:
Change the flavor and substitute Beef Broth for the Chicken Broth. It's a deeper richer flavor and oh so good!

Wanting to make Mushroom Garlic Noodles on the Stove Top? No Problem!
Follow the Ingredient list in the Recipe Card and use the broth when cooking the noodles on the stove top. The noodles will pick up some of the flavor from the broth for added flavor. Saute the mushrooms in a frying pan, add garlic. then toss over cooked noodles and serve. It's really simple really!

Hello Rebecca! I made this recipe tonight for dinner and it is so good! However, I did a few add-ins. I sautéed the mushrooms but I added some minced onions to it also. Then after the mushrooms and onions were almost done I added in some minced garlic and sautéed till a little browned. To deglaze the pot I poured in some white wine and stirred up the brown bits till the wine was almost gone. Then I proceeded with your recipe as written. Then when it was all done and the pressure was released, I added some raw, thawed shrimp on top and put the lid back on and let the residual heat cook the shrimp perfectly. The shrimp was de-shelled and de-tailed. lol By the time I had the rest of the dinner ready, so was the shrimp. On goes some shredded Parm and dinner was served!! WOW!! We loved it! Thank you so much for this recipe....as with all your other recipes too!

Sounds Delicious!

I enjoyed this but I must be doing something wrong. Is it supposed to absorb all the liquid in the IP??? Or are we supposed to drain after natural release?
Devour Dinner
Hi Nancy, typically the majority of the liquid is absorbed unless more liquid was added prior to cooking or less noodles than needed. When you plate the noodles you can serve without the extra liquid.

These were amazing! I did a bit more garlic and no pepper flakes. Also added more parmesan cheese to both thicken up a bit and love the taste.
Devour Dinner
Hi Beverly!
This is a great recipe both for a side dish and just because. Adding more cheese would definitely thicken things up. And would be delicious!
