This simple 4 ingredient Roasted Potatoes Recipe is quick, fast and easy. But you will be surprised with a delicious, perfectly roasted new potato to serve with any meal.
Making these Roasted Potatoes in the Instant Pot is a breeze but don’t worry, I’ve included directions to make in the oven too! Anyone can make this recipe.
Cut up red and gold new potatoes into halves or quarters depending on their size and toss in melted butter and ranch seasonings.
Throw into your Instant Pot and pressure up. It’s that fast and easy.

Can I make Roasted Potatoes in the Oven?
Yes you can. This recipe shows you how to make them in a Pressure Cooker or Instant Pot but you can also throw these potatoes on a cookie sheet and into the oven to bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
You will thank me later with how good these are. Yum!
What to season Roasted Potatoes With?
This recipe seasons Roasted Potatoes with Ranch dry seasonings packet. Melted butter helps the seasons coat the outside of the potatoes and infuses the flavors while roasting.

Quick Tips

Ranch Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs new potatoes: Red and Gold
- 1 Tbs Ranch Dry Seasoning Packet
- ¼ Cup Melted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Garlic
- ½ Cup+ Water
- ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Wash Potatoes and cut in half or quarters depending on size.
- In a microwave safe bowl melt butter.
- Add Butter to cut up potatoes
- Sprinkle Ranch Seasoning and toss to combine
- Add Potatoes to Instant Pot
- Add Garlic
- Stir
- Add Water
- Close lid and set to 6 minutes on Manual and Quick Release.
- Open lid, sprinkle parmesan and close lid for 2 minutes to melt cheese. Serve with Ranch Dressing to dip into and enjoy as a side dish or all by itself.

This looks so good! I have a question, do you put the potatoes on the bottom of the IP or do you use the trivet to put the potatoes on?

Hi Denise, you can place the potatoes on a trivet if you wish. I will sometimes put them directly into the liquid. It's a personal preference
