Fight away the monsters by biting into a vampire halloween donut before it bites you!

These spooky Halloween themed treats are incredibly easy to make and take hardly any time at all!

What makes them even cooler is that after the donuts are gone, you still have the vampire teeth to play with (a huge selling point for the kids).

    Halloween Donuts

If you have kids in school, you know it’s always a big deal when some parent brings in a pack of cupcakes or cookies to celebrate a child’s birthday.

It’s almost like the highlight of their little lives and all they can talk about for days.

Not only that but the birthday child gets a small boost in popularity for a few hours, which to them- is kind of a big deal.

Imagine how much these Halloween donuts would boost your kid’s credibility as everyone gets excited about these delicious monster treats.

    Halloween Donuts

Of course, these vampire donuts don’t have to be for the kids, they could be an awesome surprise to bring to the office.

Who doesn’t love finding free donuts in the break room? Bring out the inner child in everybody and bring some color to the monotonous workday with these vampire donuts.

If you’re looking for another easy-to-make Halloween snack for a classroom or office party check out my Halloween Chex Mix recipe because it’s as simple as it gets.

Just toss a few things together in a bowl and you’re done! Note that the lack of effort on your part doesn’t distract from the awesomeness of this dish.

What do I need to make Vampire Halloween Donuts?

    Halloween Donuts ingredients

    12 Donuts - Glazed
    12 Plastic Vampire Teeth
    24 Candy Eyes
1 small tube Red Gel Frosting
1 Small tube Black Gel Frosting

Can I use a variety of donuts for this recipe?

You can use any donut that you want! You can watch these vampire donuts easily convert into spooky little monster donuts by using sprinkled, chocolate, or another variety.

Where can I find Plastic Vampire Teeth?

I found my package of 12 plastic vampire teeth at Walmart, but you can just as easily find them at the Dollar store too! In fact, a lot of stores carry these plastic teeth as we come closer to the Halloween holiday.

Where can I find Candy Eyes?

I purchased these candy eyes in the Halloween section of Walmart, but you can also find the candy eyes around the cake decorating and party section of Walmart too. If you don’t have luck in the store you can also find them on Amazon or settle for the backsides of an M&M.

How to make Vampire Halloween Donuts?

    1. Take a pair of vampire's teeth and pinch them closed. Push the back end into the hole of the glazed donut so that they can get nice and stuck. If you don’t get them in there well, be warned- they will pop out! Just like a cross between grandma’s dentures and a jack in the box.
    2. Now open the teeth slightly, to give them that “ready to bite” look.
    3. Add the candy eyes to the donut, thankfully the glaze should be enough to hold the eyes in place, but if not, add a very small dot of gel frosting to hold them down.
    4. Add red gel frosting to the teeth to look like blood from a vampire bite.
    5. Use the black gel frosting to make the widows peak hairline.
