    This quick and easy Chex Mix Recipe is so easy to throw together and there really isn’t any right or wrong way to make it.

    Chex Mix can be sweetened a variety of ways, you can add in sweet candies like M&M’s or Candy Coated Peanuts OR you can make a sweet sauce of butter and sugars and pour over cereal mixture. 

    Regardless all combinations of Chex Party Mix are delicious.

    How much Chex Mix per person?

    This is a tough question as I just watched my son eat ½ a large serving bowl of Chex Party Mix!  haha..  Typically a serving of 1 to 1 ½ cups per person is a good size. You can be the judge!

    Chex Party Mix can be made in so many ways for every holiday.  Add your favorite Mix-ins to create a new and unique Chex Mix Recipe for you holiday fun.

    It's easy to change the holiday. Use Christmas M&M's for a red and green tone, or Valentines Chex Mix and use Red and Pink M&M's. Also add Conversation Hearts for added fun.

    Additional mix-ins are easy and fun. Add 1 ½ cups of any of the following ideas:

    How to Store Chex Mix?

    I’m not sure any of these Chex Mix Snacks will last long enough to think about storing them…haha…but in the slim chance you have extra and are hiding it from your family, then place the Chex Mix into a Gallon size Zip Lock Bag or in an airtight container. Either will work fine!

    Ingredients

    • 3 Cups Honey Nut Chex Mix - Skeleton Scabs
    • 2 Cups Bugles Snacks - Witches Hats
    • 2 Cups Pretzels - Bats Wings
    • 1 Cup Candy Corn - Goblin Teeth
    • 1 Cup Chocolate Covered Peanuts - Mummy Poop
    • 1 Cup Halloween M&M's - Zombie Eyes

    Instructions

    • In a large bowl measure out 3 heaping cups of Honey Nut Chex Mix, 2 heaping cups of Bugles and Pretzels and stir to combine.
    • Add Candy Corn, M&M's and Chocolate Covered Peanuts and gently stir.
    • Serve in large party bowl or individual bowls or bags.

    Notes

    Additional Mix-in Items:

    Additional Items can be added and stirred into mixture. Mix ½ - 1 Cup of each as needed
    • Marshmallows (Ghost Poop)
    • Chocolate Chips (Frankenstien Warts)
