If you want to make the meal in advance, you can pair all of the ingredients (minus the slurry) together in a zipper topped bag and placed in the freezer.

Yes, you can! In fact, I have an amazing teriyaki sauce that works perfectly inside the instant pot. Check out my 10-minute teriyaki sauce recipe for details!

There are plenty of ways that you can choose to reheat your leftover chicken teriyaki. The method that you select is up to you.

FYI, Step 6 has Step 1 included at the end 🙂 Great easy recipe. I added about 1.5 T Hoisin Sauce before I added the slurry. I wanted to add red pepper flakes but forgot! Will add to the leftovers.

I doubled the recipe the second time I made it, as it freezes very well. We love this chicken.

Would the cooking time be the same for a doubled batch of chicken?

Hi Erika, Yes, the cooking time stays the same when cooking with the Pressure Cooker. You double all the ingredients and keep the cook time the same.
