Ingredients Needed for Ranch Burger Recipe
- Ground Beef. Choose good quality meat where you can.
- Seasoning. Use Dry Ranch Seasoning, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, and Black Pepper for burgers that are packed with flavor!
- Hamburger Buns. Use your favorite kind of buns for these burgers. Brioche Buns are a great choice, especially when toasted!

Make Burger Patties
In a large bowl combine ground beef, ranch dressing, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Separate the mixture into 4 equal size patties and form patties using your hands. Each patty should be about an inch thick and round.
Cover patties with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Grilled or Pan Fried
Heat a pan over medium heat until hot. Place chilled patties into skillet leaving room between each patty.
Cook patties until seared on the bottom and cooked halfway up the sides. Flip burgers and repeat on the other side, cooking burgers to your preferred level of doneness.
Air Fry Directions
Place patty on parchment paper or spray Air Fryer Basket with a nonstick cooking spray (Avocado or Olive Oil are my favorite).
Set Air Fryer to 360 Degrees and cook according to the weight of the burger:
- ¼ lb: 360 Degrees 6-7 Minutes Flip over and cook 5-6 minutes more.
- ⅓ lb: 360 Degrees 8-9 Minutes Flip over and cook 6-8 minutes more.
- ½ lb: 360 Degrees 11-12 Minutes Flip over and cook 9-11 minutes more.
Dress Burger
Place the cooked burger on a toasted bun and top it with a drizzle of Ranch Dressing and any other condiments you desire.
Garnish with tomato slices, lettuce, cheese, etc. and enjoy!

Substitutions & Variations
- Meat. You can use any kind of ground meat for these burgers, but you will get a different flavor. Ground turkey, ground chicken, or ground pork are good alternatives.
- Bacon. Add some crispy bacon, or crispy bacon bits to the top of the burger patty for some smoky bacon flavors.
- Cheese. Add slices of your favorite cheese to the top of the burger while it's still hot. You can even add a slice of cheese to the top of the burger for the last minute of cooking so it's fully melted before putting it on your burger! Cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack cheeses are all great choices!
- Spice. Spice it up by using red pepper flakes, finely diced jalapenos, or cayenne pepper in the meat mixture. Or add some hot sauce
- Ranch Dressing Mix. Use any brand of ranch dressing for this recipe.
- Flavor. Add even more flavor with a dash of Worcestershire Sauce or Dijon Mustard, or add some finely chopped red onion to the patty mixture.
Pro Tips
- Choose good quality ground beef for a truly great flavor.
- Use a meat thermometer to measure how done your burgers are to ensure they are ready. The USDA recommends an internal temperature of between 160˚ to 165˚ for ground meat as the minimum. At this temperature, your burgers will be well-done without any pink in the centers. Remove the burgers from the heat, when they reach 5˚ to 10˚ under the desired temperature, because they will continue to cook a bit more once they're off the heat.
- Cooking your burgers on an outdoor grill will give them an added smoky flavor.
