Had this for Christmas Eve dinner. Added shrimp and a salad. So easy and an easy cleanup. Very very delicious. Shared it with my 87 yr old father’s visiting angel.
Patti
I have made this multiple times and love it
I always add shrimp and water chestnuts
Shared with my neighbor who loved it too
Mar
At what point did you add the shrimp?
Devour Dinner
Hi Mar, this recipe doesn't have Shrimp in the recipe it self. If you wish to add Shrimp or Chicken to this recipe I suggest adding at the end and making sure the chicken or shrimp and precooked.

Gosh! I had no idea this one has been around as long as it has been! I just saw the link on the Instant Pot Community recently! Made it last night and this is the second recipe I've found that makes ordinary ramen noodles super interesting!!! Thanks for this one!!
Devour Dinner
Hi Gary! Thank you for the raving reviews and welcome to the world of Instant Pot! I hope you will continue to follow along. This recipe is a fan favorite and so fun and easy to make and eat!

So easy I added shrimp
Saralyn
If you have an Instant Pot, you need to make this delicious Ramen Pad Thai. Easiest thing on earth to make, with wonderful flavors and mild enough even for the kiddies. I added some cooked shrimp to the finished product to make it a protein-rich one-dish dinner. This recipe will definitely be on repeat at my house!
Devour Dinner
Hi Sarayln! Thanks for an awesome review. Adding Shrimp is a great idea and I bet was delicious
Adam
Please explain zero minutes.
Devour Dinner
Hi Adam, When setting the pressure cooker use the +/- keys to adjust to 0 (Zero) minutes. I know it sounds crazy. But the Pressure Cooker will heat up and pressurize. Then it will beep letting you know the cooking process is complete. It's just that easy. Some recipes don't take much time at all to cook and remember the cooking is also happening as it's pressuring up.
Jill
This recipe was so yummy! The only suggestion is to update your written recipe- step one and step 2 both indicate ingredients are placed on the bottom of the instant pot. I was able to scroll through your post to determine that the liquid gets put in first.
Thanks for sharing!

I made it with fresh veggies; shredded cabbage, chopped celery, diced carrots, chopped broccoli, and chopped water chestnuts. I diced some chicken and cooked in olive oil and garlic and added at the end, topped off my bowl with chopped peanuts.
SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! I can't stop eating it!!
Devour Dinner
Sounds like you made this Ramen Pad Thai into a delicious meal! We love adding extra veggies or chicken too.
Amanda
Hi Kelley,
Did you still just do 0 minutes, even with the veggies? This is what I was thinking of doing tonight, but wasn't sure if I should up the time by a minute to deal with the carrots and cabbage. Scared I'll end up with mushy noodles.
Many thanks
Amanda

Hi Amanda, The Zero Minutes is perfect. If you choose to do larger sliced veggies you could up it to 1 minute. But as shown Zero minutes works perfectly.
Kathleen
Thanks for that comment. I never have a package of frozen vegetables in my freezer so I wondered how I might make this with fresh.
Christy
I just made this tonight. Flavor is delicious! Only issue is that the ramen was way too done for our taste. Obviously can’t cook it for less than 0 minutes lol. I’m wondering if I could try a different noodle? Any suggestions?
Devour Dinner
Hi Christy, Thanks for a great review. You can try different types of noodles but keep in mind that vegetables will cook in short times and changing noodles will increase the time pressure cooked. So you may want to cook noodles and then add veggies to the hot pot to steam.
Mary
I made this stove top and it came out amazing… the noodles were aldente instead of mushy
Devour Dinner
Thanks Mary! This is a fantastic review. So glad it worked on the stove top for you

Fastest and easiest way to make some chinese food at home. One of my go-to's on a busy night.
Devour Dinner
I agree Julie! This is the quickest way to make a delicious Pad Thai
Raychal
Can you make this recipe with rice noodles? If so, how long would you set the cool time to? Thanks!
Devour Dinner
Hi Raychal, I haven't tested this recipe with rice noodles. But I would try 1 minute. With noodles it's always best to have enough liquid to cover the noodles, So you might adjust the sauce in this recipe a little bit so there is enough liquid for the rice noodles. Ramen Noodles need very little liquid for cooking. Let me know how it goes.
