I just made this recipe and used two cans of pudding with one box of angel food cake mix...don't know how they are going to come out but hopefully they will be more dense. We shall see 🙂

I hope it turned out well!!
Kiki
Can I use scratch lemon pudding with this? Do not like canned lemon pudding, has a chemical taste to me.
Devour Dinner
The recipe calls for canned Lemon Pie Filling. Boxed Lemon Pudding is not something I have tested to know how it would work with this recipe.
Judy
Couldn't find the can of Lemon Pie filling. Can you use the box type pudding to add to it. (making it and adding to angel food dry mix)
Devour Dinner
Hi Judy, I haven't tried this recipe with lemon pudding but you could certainly give it a try! I imagine it would work!
Mary
Hello If I put them into a jelly roll pan would they be okay or too skimpy Thank you
Devour Dinner
Hi Mary,
A Jelly Roll Pan is typically larger than what is needed for this recipe. However, you could give it a try. The bars would likely cook for less time. Let me know how it works for you!
Tammy
I just made this. Mine looks more like angel food cake instead of bars. Maybe I did something wrong.
Devour Dinner
Hi Tammy, These are a light and airy lemon bar and will be taller than a traditional Lemon Bar with can be very dense and thick. The more water you add to this recipe the taller these Lemon Bars become. Hope that helps!
