I love my Cosori Air Fryer. It has a large enough air fryer basket to make many things. I love this recipe for Air Fried Pork Tenderloin because it turns out juicy and perfect every time.

I truly enjoy the moist, tender and juicy medallions served with roasted broccoli and a Loaded Baked Potato or a favorite side of your choosing.

The tenderloin is the small round cut of meat located in the muscle under the backbone. Where a pork loin is a wider flatter cut of meat that could be bone in or boneless.

The tenderloin is the most tender cut of pork. Often called the filet mignon of pork it's a lean cut of meat and makes the best easy meal the whole family will enjoy.

I'll walk you through the cooking process to a juicy pork tenderloin.

    Pork Tenderloin Air Fried

Ingredient Roll Call for Pork Tenderloin Air Fryer

    • Garlic: Crushed for the best flavor infusion.
    • Pork Tenderloin (2 pounds): Choose a lean tenderloin (not pork loin!) for even cooking and tender results.
    • Balsamic Vinegar: Adds depth, acidity, and helps tenderize the meat.
    • Soy Sauce: Balances the tangy vinegar with salty umami flavor.
    • Olive Oil: Helps the marinade coat the pork evenly and crisp the outside.
    • Brown Sugar: Caramelizes beautifully for a sweet glaze that pairs perfectly with the savory marinade.
    • Pepper & Salt: Simple seasoning that enhances natural flavor.
    • Rosemary: Earthy and aromatic—fresh or dried both work great.

    The Must-Haves

    • Air Fryer: The key to crispy, juicy, and evenly cooked tenderloin.
    • Mixing Bowl: For whisking the marinade together.
    • Zip-Loc Bag or Airtight Container: Ideal for marinating the pork evenly.
    • Tongs: Make flipping easy and mess-free.
    • Meat Thermometer: Ensures perfect doneness at 145°F.

Let’s Make It! Pork Loin Air Fryer

To begin, gather the needed ingredients. This helps ensure you don't forget any ingredient.

    Savory Pork Marinade

Mix marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. You can also save yourself a dirty dish and put all ingredients into a large gallon size Zip-loc bag.

I find it easiest to marinate meat in a Zip-loc bag or airtight container. Just make sure to mix all the ingredients well if using the bag as the brown sugar tends to clump together.

    Pork Marinade in bowl

Marinate for as little as 1 hour, however for better result, I prefer to allow at least 2-3 hours to marinate before cooking. Preheat Air Fryer to 400F Degrees and place tenderloin into a greased basket using cooking spray or use a parchment paper with holes.

Cook Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer

How Long to Cook Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer

Make sure to tuck the tail of the tenderloin under. It’s thinner and will cook much quicker if left untucked.

This recipe has a cooking time of 10 minutes then carefully turn over and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes. It's a quick and easy recipe. In under 20 minutes you will be enjoying a delicious recipe.

Place cooked tenderloin on a cutting board to rest for at least 5 minutes. Cover with foil to keep warm. Then slice into medallions.

    Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

It’s important to have an internal meat thermometer, or food thermometer to measure the internal temperature of the meat. Pork should be cooked to 145 degrees before removing from the heat source. Also allow meat to rest for at least 3 minutes before slicing. Adjust time as needed for larger tenderloins.

    Kitchen Q&A's

What Temperature do you Cook Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer?

Air fry Pork Tenderloin at 400F Degrees

    How long to Marinate Pork

I suggest marinating for a minimum of 1 hour and no longer than 8 hours. This marinade can also be used on different cuts of meat as well.

How long do you cook Pork Tenderloin in the Air Fryer

Air Fry a pork tenderloin for 10 minutes. Then flip over and cook an additional 8-10 minutes ensuring the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees

Fridge & Freezer Magic for Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

Leftovers keep beautifully! Store cooled slices in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes or in the microwave. To freeze, wrap individual portions tightly and store for up to 2 months.

Flavor Fixes / Swap It Out

Want to mix things up? Try swapping balsamic vinegar for apple cider vinegar for a brighter flavor, or add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard for tang. Dried herbs can be used in place of fresh—just reduce the amount slightly since dried herbs are more potent. If you like a smoky flavor, sprinkle in a bit of smoked paprika.

You can make a spice rub using Italian Seasoning, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder and Black Pepper if you prefer which is also delicious and does not require any marinating. It's a simple recipe and I just eyeball the ingredients to taste. Cayenne pepper can be used to add a touch of heat if you prefer.

Always blot the tenderloin with paper towels before applying the seasoning rub for best results.

The pork tenderloin cooks for the same time regardless of the marinade or rub used.

With a little effort you can enjoy this original recipe for an easy pork tenderloin the family will love. Make memories around the table with this recipe is a great way to build family togetherness while enjoying a delicious meal.

This recipe is so flavorful and tasty and easy to make. Would I be able to use fresh rosemary from my garden or would it possibly burn in the air fryer.
