In this recipe I used fresh basil which was out of this world delicious and I highly recommend. You could of course use dried basil or even Italian Seasonings but I do prefer fresh.
Drop Biscuits are so easy to throw together even the kids could help make these without needing much help at all, depending on their age of course.

Why are they called Drop Biscuits?
Drop Biscuits have a crusty top with peaks and uneven tops due to the batter being dropped on a baking sheet. They are sometimes called Mountain Biscuits because they use only a few ingredients and are so simple to make.
