Yeast Bread
Yeast Bread is bread that uses Yeast as a Leavening Agent. Yeast causes air pockets or gas in dough causing it to rise making it light and airy. Yeast Bread can be shaped into countless shapes and sizes.
There are 3 types of yeast that can be used when making Yeast Bread. Active Dry, Instant, and Fresh. I prefer to use Rapid-Rise, Quick-Rise or even Bread Machine Yeast. It's Instant yeast and is sold is small packets or jars and is easy to use for everyday bread making. You can also substitute Instant Yeast for Active Dry Yeast in most recipes.
Whenever I am making Yeast Bread I will always use my Bosch Mixer. The large powerful motor is ideal with kneading thick dough. Bosch Mixers also have a large bowl capacity. I grew up using a Bosch Mixer and I wouldn't have it any other way.
