How to Make Broccoli in the Instant Pot
- Wash and Cut your Broccoli into small bite sized florets
- Place them in the Instant Pot / Pressure Cooker Steamer Basket
- Set Instant Pot / Pressure Cooking to "Pressure Cook" for 0 Minutes
- Do a Quick Release of the Pressure
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Optional - Drizzle Lemon juice on top for added flavor

Yes, you really can pressure cook for zero minutes. use your +/- buttons to adjust down to zero. It's the perfect amount of time for delicate veggies that you don't want to be over cooked.
Can I roast Broccoli in the Oven?

Ingredients
- 1 lb Broccoli
- Salt and Pepper - To taste
- Lemon Juice - Optional
Instructions
- Wash and Cut Broccoli into small, bite-size florets.
- Place the broccoli in the Instant Pot / Pressure Cooker Steamer Basket at the bottom of the pot.
- Set Instant Pot / Pressure Cooking to "Pressure Cook" for 0 Minutes.
- Quick Release the Pressure.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
- Optional - Drizzle Lemon juice on top for added flavor.
Notes
- Storage: Cooked broccoli can stay in the refrigerator for 3-5 days if you wrap it in foil or store it in an airtight container. Microwave to reheat.
- Freezing: You can freeze broccoli once it’s been cooked, but it doesn’t always taste great after thawing and reheating. If you need to cook it before freezing it, you should blanch it, then dry and freeze it. To do this, cook the broccoli, then immediately put it in ice water to stop it from cooking. Then, flash-freeze the florets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Store your frozen broccoli in a Ziploc bag or freezer bag for up to 3 months.
