My friend Chrissie from Off the Eaten Path Blog shares this recipe and the story behind it. I’ll share more about her and her blog in a minute. I’m participating in Freaky Friday Summer Edition where bloggers share each other’s recipes. It’s so fun to learn more about fellow bloggers and try their recipes out too!

Pepperoni Bread will definitely be made again and again in my home. My teenage son, and picky eater, devoured and asked if there was more! Good thing I bought extra ingredients ‘just in case’. This bread is rolled up like a cinnamon roll and baked like a ring. It’s so easy and fun to make too.

Shopping List for Pepperoni Bread
- Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust
- Pepperoni
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Italian Seasonings
- Garlic Powder
- Egg
- Dipping Sauce
The ingredients are simple and easy to find at your local grocery store. This recipe is also fantastic for young chefs wanting to make a new recipe as it’s really an easy recipe to follow and make.
How to make Pepperoni Bread
Take a minute and gather the ingredients and supplies you need. I baked this in a large glass pie dish but you can also bake on a cookie sheet or circle baking sheet.
Preheat Oven to 375F Degrees and spray a pie dish with cooking spray
Gather all ingredients and let’s begin.
- Lightly flour work surface and unroll Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust. Using a Rolling pin, roll dough thin. About ¼in thick.
- Make an Egg Wash by whisking the egg and adding 1 Tablespoon water and mixing. Using a pastry brush, brush egg wash over the dough.
- Sprinkle Italian Seasonings and Garlic Powder over the dough and then place pepperoni on dough leaving ½inch around outside edges
- Feel Free to add Red Pepper Flakes too. It’s optional but adds a nice amount of heat.
- Roll dough tightly and seal by pinching the dough together at seam and edges.
- Place the roll into a well-greased Pie Pan and brush with egg washing making sure seams are securely closed.
- Additional seasonings can be sprinkled on top too.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. As every oven cooks a little differently it doesn’t hurt to watch the last few minutes so it’s not overbaked.
- Slice and dip into marinara. Serves 8-10
5 Star Recipe
I have to tell you, we loved this recipe. My boys inhaled it and wanted to know when I would make more. I loved how quick and easy it was to make and throw together. It’s a recipe I will make again and serve as a snack/appetizer or even a light meal for a smaller group on occasion.
This recipe is also perfect when watching your favorite sports game. Who doesn’t love a great snack while cheering on your favorite team? I know I sure do!

Chrissie shares a fun tip! Making Pepperoni Bread can be done in advance. This is fantastic. Follow the recipe and directions right up until it goes in the oven and then cover the pan with foil or plastic wrap and place in refrigerator until ready to enjoy. Then bake as normal when ready. It’s really that easy.
Now let me tell you more about Chrissie. She is a Blogger by night and a Public Defender by day. Truly a busy lady and loves the creative outlet of blogging. She not only creates and photographs recipes but she also shares about all the fun locations in her city. I would love to visit Charlotte, North Carolina after reading about all the fun places to visit and food to enjoy.
Her Blog Off the Eaten Path has been recognized both locally and nationally in many publications and she has a cookbook too!
Pepperoni Bread is a family recipe for Chrissie and I can only imagine the fun times around the table while enjoying her Aunt Julie’s Pepperoni Bread. Family Recipes are a favorite of mine as they always prove to be delicious and are a great recipe to start a tradition too.
How long will Pepperoni Bread Last?
Pepperoni Bread will last 3-4 days when properly stored in the refrigerator. However, it’s doubtful you will have any left as it’s delicious and will be eaten instantly.
How to Store Pepperoni Bread
Wrap leftover Pizza Bread in foil or plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Pepperoni Bread is best served warm or hot but can also be enjoyed cold for those that prefer it that way.
You can of course add Pizza Sauce to dough like you would if making a pizza. However, I found that the egg wash and seasonings were perfect and preferred to dip into the sauce after baking. I also feel like it is easier to roll up the Pillsbury Pizza Dough without adding the sauce.
