Pro Tips
Chicken Breasts: Recipe tested with medium sized breast. All with even thicknesses. When using large and small breasts air frying time will differ. Adjust time accordingly and test internal temperature at thickest point to reach 165F degrees.Spice Rub: Seasoning raw chicken before Air Frying gives additional flavors to meat and is delicious. Add extra heat by adding Cayenne Pepper (optional) to the spice rub.
Storage & Make Ahead
Store: Place leftover chicken in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Keep in the fridge for up to 3-4 days to maintain its juicy flavor.
Freeze: For longer storage, wrap each piece individually in aluminum foil or freezer-safe plastic wrap, then place them in a freezer bag. This method keeps them fresh for up to 3 months.
Reheat: Warm leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through. This ensures the chicken stays moist while reheating evenly.
Make Ahead: Season and prep the chicken ahead of time, storing it raw in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When ready to cook, simply air fry and baste with BBQ sauce for a fresh, hot meal.
