Adding Sugar to Corn
I have always boiled corn in water with just a little bit of sugar to help bring out the natural sweet flavors. When testing this out in the Instant Pot, I have not noticed a big difference between corn pressure cooked with sugar added in the water vs corn pressure cook without adding sugar. So it’s purely optional. It certainly doesn’t hurt.
