This Instant Pot Chicken and Gravy recipe is pure comfort food that is perfect for any time of year! Made with just five simple ingredients, you can let the Instant Pot do all the hard work, making this a delicious dinner the whole family will love, perfect for busy weeknights!
Place boneless skinless chicken breasts into the Instant Pot / pressure cooker and season with salt and pepper.
Add 1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth or water into the pot. The broth is needed to create steam to pressure Instant Pot
In a separate bowl combine Chicken Gravy Packet with Italian Dressing and Ranch Dressing Packet. Sprinkle mixture over chicken breasts.
Pressure Cook Chicken Breasts for 18 minutes. Allow a 20 minute Natural Pressure Release (NPR) before opening the lid.
Remove chicken breasts and use forks shred chicken. Chicken will be soft and tender and will easily fall apart and shred.
Set Instant Pot to Saute. In a small bowl mix 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch and 2 Tablespoons water to make a slurry. Add slurry to Instant Pot and whisk into gravy to thicken (optional).
Serve over Rice, Noodles, or Mashed Potatoes. Also delicious when served on a toasted hoagie roll.

Directions Using Chicken TendersFollow the above directions and measurements except adjust the pressure cooking time to 6 minutes when cooking chicken tenders and allow a 6-minute Natural Pressure Release (NPR).Storage
Storage: Store any leftover chicken and gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat portions in the microwave until piping hot.
Freezing: This is a great recipe for prepping freezer meals! Cook the dish and let it cool, then transfer it in portions to freezer bags or a freezersafe container, and freeze for up to 6 months. Defrost in the refrigerator before reheating it until piping hot!
