Add 2–3 cups of fresh pineapple chunks, spears, or rings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the sugar mixture.
Place the coated pineapple in the preheated air fryer in a single layer, working in batches if needed.
Air fry at 375°F for 5–7 minutes.
Open the air fryer basket, flip the pineapple, and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
Carefully remove the pineapple from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving — the hot sugar can burn.

Storage & Make Ahead
Store: Place leftover air fryer pineapple in an airtight container or sealed container and refrigerate for up to 2–3 days. It’s just as tasty cold and makes a refreshing snack or topping straight from the fridge.
Freeze: Let the pineapple cool completely, then freeze in a single layer on a parchment-lined tray. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container—this helps prevent clumping and keeps those sweet pineapple pieces separate.
Reheat: Pop the frozen or chilled pineapple into the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes or until warmed through. You can also use the microwave in a pinch, though air frying gives the best caramelized texture.
Make Ahead: To prep ahead, cut and coat the pineapple in the brown sugar mixture and refrigerate in an air-tight container for up to 24 hours. When you're ready, toss it into the air fryer for a quick and easy treat!
