Ingredients

oz
Button Mushrooms Sliced
1
Medium Onion Sliced thin
½
Cup
Grated Swiss Cheese
4
Tbs
Butter *Divided
1 ½
Tbs
Sugar
2
Tbs
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Pkg Phyllo Cups
1
Tbs
Fresh Thyme
Instructions
Wash and slice mushrooms and set aside. I like to remove the stems (optional)
Thinly slice onion and set aside
Heat frying pan over medium/high heat
Add 2 Tbs Butter* and add mushrooms to hot pan.
Saute Mushrooms for 3-5 minutes or until tender and remove from heat and set aside
Add 2 Tbs Butter to hot pan and allow butter to melt
Add sliced onions
Stir to coat and sauté' for 5-8 minutes over medium heat.
When onions have reduced down add sugar and balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. Stir
Add cooked mushrooms and stir
If necessary cut with a knife to make smaller pieces
Add 1 tablespoon filling to each Phyllo Shell and sprinkle Swiss Cheese on top.
Garnish with Fresh Thyme
Serve and enjoy
Notes
*Phyllo Shells can be thrown into the oven under Broil for 1 minute to melt cheese if desired
