When choosing Cauliflower make sure to buy a head that is dense and heavy. Leaves should look fresh and green. Cauliflower Florets should be tight and compact. If you see dark spots or mildew made sure to cut off before cooking.
Rinse under cool water to remove any dirt or chemicals
In a sauce pan using a steamer basket. Add ½in water to pot and place Cauliflower Florets into steamer basket. Place lid on top of pan
Steam for 5-7 minutes over medium-high heat. You want a little crunch left on the Cauliflower
Remove pan from stove, drain any liquid and place in an over safe serving bowl
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Top with Graded Cheddar Cheese, Bacon Crumbles and Diced Green Onions
Place in Oven under Broiler for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted
Notes
