Instructions
Choose a board or tray for your Charcuterie Board. Smaller boards can be used for smaller trays. Make a Dessert Board for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10+ People.
Choose 1-3 Larger Items like cookies, fruit, crackers, breadsticks, or meat varities
Choose 2-3 Medium size items like mini cookies, wrapped mini candy bars, sliced cheese
Choose 2-3 smaller size items like M&M's, candied nuts or other Candies.
Start by placing larger items and dips on board making 2 or 3 small groupings on tray.
Fill in with medium size items and make small groupings. It's fun to place them around the board filling in space
Finish by adding small groups of candies, chocolates or nuts to fill in the empty spaces.
TIP: Use a variety of shapes, sizes, and textures for an eye appealing Dessert Board
Place plastic spiders, bugs, and use skeleton hands for a spooky fun tray
Notes
Pro Tips:
Gather all the ingredients you want to use. Visually seeing everything helps when putting board together.
Choose Cutting Board or tray. I prefer to line board with parchment paper. But it's not necessary.
Place small bowls for sauces or dips on board
Add larger ingredients like rose salami, crackers, or cookies. Build tray from larger items to smaller items.
Dip apples or bananas into lemon juice to prevent browning while sitting out
Fill in gaps with candy corn, candy eyes, mini candy bars, covered pretzels, nuts, and holiday M&M's
Decorate with plastic spiders, skeleton hands, and more for a spooky board theme
