Crock Pot 15 Bean Soup
This recipe is also easily made in the Crock Pot but does require soaking beans overnight first. To soak beans place in a large pot and fill with water allowing the beans to soak for at least 8 hours. Then saute diced onions and other vegetables before adding to Slow Cooker. Drain beans that have been soaking overnight and place in crock pot with seasonings, broth and don’t forget a Bay Leaf or two.Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until beans are tender. Add cooked chicken, sausage, bacon, or even ham and allow to cook 30 more minutes before serving.
How to Deglaze Instant Pot
Use ¼ to ½ cup of the thin liquid from the recipe and add.Using a flat bottom wooden spoon or silicone scraper, scrap the bottom of the pot lifting anything that might be stuck. The liquid helps to release anything stuck.Clearing the bottom of the Pressure Cooker will help from getting the Burn Notice and it only takes a few seconds to accomplish.
