Choose apples. I prefer a variety of apples from Granny Smith, Fuji, and Honeycrisp. But there is no wrong variety of apple to use.
Peel apples removing skins and cut apples into quarters. Then remove core from each apple slice
Add apples to Instant Pot with Apple Juice or Apple Cider. Water can also be substituted if needed
Pressure Cook for 4 Minutes on High. Allow a 15 minute Natural Pressure Release before opening pressure valve.
Stir apples with a large spoon until smooth. You can also use an immersion blender to blend sauce if desired or a blender.
(optional) Sweeten sauce with 1-2 Tablespoons sugar as desired.
(optional) Add ¼ to ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Store in sealed container in refrigerator for 7-10 days or freeze for up to 2 months
